Chapelizod Bypass for South Dublin County Council

Mitchell Macadam is proud to have successfully completed resurfacing works on the Chapelizod Bypass on behalf of South Dublin County Council earlier this week.

The project involved the complete removal of the existing road surface using our milling machine, followed by a thorough road sweep, the application of a bitumen emulsion bond coat, and the installation of a new 50mm SMA 14 Polymer Modified Bitumen surface. The works were completed with fresh road line markings, leaving the carriageway ready for use.

Working in partnership with Nuzum Road Services, who provided traffic management throughout the project, our team delivered the scheme safely, efficiently, and within a tight two-night programme, minimising disruption to road users.
