Mitchell Macadam Completes Logistics Park Resurfacing in Naas, Co. Kildare

Mitchell Macadam is proud to announce the successful completion of resurfacing works at a new logistics park in Naas, Co. Kildare, on behalf of Thoval Properties.

This project involved the full preparation and resurfacing of the site to provide a durable, high-performance pavement capable of withstanding the demands of a busy commercial and logistics environment.

The works commenced with the planning off of the existing road surface, with all arisings responsibly transported and disposed of at a licensed waste facility. Our team then carried out a comprehensive sweep of the entire area to ensure a clean surface before applying a polymer modified bitumen emulsion bond coat to achieve optimum adhesion between the existing pavement and the new surfacing.

The final stage involved laying and compacting between 45mm and 50mm of SMA 10 Industrial asphalt, delivering a robust, long-lasting surface designed to perform under the heavy vehicle traffic associated with modern logistics operations.

Projects such as this require careful planning, precise execution, and close coordination to ensure they are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
